Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Sanaa Khudhur Youssef, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Legal Division and in coordination with the Media Division of our College, organized on Thursday, September 25, 2025, a scientific workshop entitled “Rights and Duties of the Public Employee.”
The workshop was presented by:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Muath Mohammed Yaqoub
- Lecturer Abdullah Saeed Khudair
with the participation of a group of faculty members and staff.
The workshop aimed to shed light on the key rights and duties guaranteed by law to public employees, and their role in achieving integrity and dedication in carrying out professional responsibilities. It also introduced the existing regulations and instructions that govern matters of public service.
Several topics were discussed during the workshop, including employee rights related to career progression and granted privileges, as well as obligations and duties tied to their responsibilities towards the institution and society.
In conclusion, the workshop witnessed discussions and recommendations that emphasized the importance of raising legal awareness among employees and strengthening a culture of respect for laws and regulations, in order to achieve higher efficiency in administrative work.
