This morning, 24 November 2025, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics organized a field workshop titled “Green Economy and Sustainable Development” in the university gardens, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Committee and with the participation of faculty members and students from various departments.

The workshop was presented by:

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Faiq Mal Allah Mahmoud
  • Dr. Uday Sabour Mohammed
  • Asst. Lecturer Hajar Abdul Rahman Abdulhadi
  • Asst. Lecturer Zakiya Abdul-Munim Qoujah

The workshop covered awareness topics on the concept of the green economy, the importance of investing in renewable energy, and efficient management of natural resources, in addition to discussing the role of educational institutions in supporting environmental initiatives and adopting eco-friendly practices on campus.

The workshop also included field activities to promote positive environmental behavior, such as an educational tour in the gardens, highlighting the importance of green spaces in improving quality of life and reducing pollution.
