Under the auspices of the President of the University of Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, a scientific workshop titled “Mechanisms for Promoting Women’s Rights and Gender Equality” was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
The workshop, organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit in collaboration with the Human Rights Unit and the College of Law, featured presentations by:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Muayad Mohammed Yaqoub
- Assistant Lecturer Tawfiq Abdul-Hafiz Tawfiq
The session witnessed extensive discussions among attendees, addressing current challenges and effective strategies for empowering women across various sectors. The discussions emphasized the fundamental importance of equality and the necessity of robust support for women’s rights within society.
