In a commitment to fostering academic collaboration, Assistant Professor Dr. Lora Bassem Al-Saour, a faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated in the defense of a doctoral dissertation at the University of Mosul’s College of Administration and Economics on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The dissertation, submitted by the researcher Salah Hanthal Ahmed Saleh Al-Maamari, was titled:
“The Impact of Good Governance and Monetary Variables on Portfolio Investment in Selected Countries”
The study aimed to analyze the nature and magnitude of the influence exerted by institutional indicators and monetary variables across several Asian countries and emerging economies. Furthermore, it explored the implications for portfolio investment to provide scholarly insights that support decision-makers in this field.
Dr. Al-Saour served as a distinguished member of the examination committee alongside esteemed faculty from the University of Mosul. Her participation underscores her active scientific presence and significant contributions to academic committees.
