  • Vision: The Continuing Education Unit seeks to develop and enhance the scientific and professional skills of faculty members, staff, students, graduates, and the local community, by providing high-quality training programs, educational courses, and workshops, aiming to promote sustainable knowledge and achieve community development.
  • The Unit’s Role and Services Provided:
    • Organize specialized training courses and workshops to develop professional and scientific skills.
    • Prepare and implement continuing education programs in coordination with scientific and administrative departments.
    • Provide consultations and educational services to the local community.
    • Develop the skills of teaching and functional cadres in the College through continuous training programs.
    • Enhance cooperation with academic and professional institutions to exchange experiences and knowledge.
    • Organize volunteer campaigns and scientific festivals.
  • Relationships and Coordination with Other Branches in the College:
    • Coordinate with scientific departments to implement specialized courses, workshops, and seminars.
    • Cooperate with the Quality Unit to ensure achieving academic standards.
    • Communicate with the Media and Public Relations Unit to advertise activities and events.
    • Work with Administrative Affairs to follow up on organizational matters.
    • Coordinate work with the College’s units to ensure work quality.

    • Activity registration forms (courses, workshops, seminars, competitive scholarships, volunteer campaigns).
    • Trainer and participant evaluation forms.
    • Adherence to preparing monthly and annual reports.

  • Mission: To achieve excellence in providing specialized consultation programs in the accounting and administrative fields using all available capabilities in the university and other institutions to provide a scientific, academic, and professional environment based on meeting united needs to develop teaching and functional cadres, and to contribute to building a developed knowledge society through modern and sustainable educational strategies.

    • Develop specialized training programs based on the needs of different departments.
    • Enhance cooperation with educational and professional institutions.
    • Utilize e-learning for delivering and implementing training courses.
    • Allocate a budget to support continuing education programs.
    • Enhance the community role by organizing free community events such as: (workshops on employment skills for university students, lectures on local economic challenges (like inflation, unemployment), launching training grants for marginalized groups (such as women in rural areas, unemployed youth)).
    • Enhance financial sustainability by creating funding sources through: (strategic partnerships with the private sector, attracting support from relevant international organizations).
    • Apply a mixed-income model (e.g., fully paid programs and others for free).
    • Ensure quality and academic excellence by conducting periodic program evaluations through participant and employer satisfaction surveys.
    • Diversify educational programs by designing specialized programs in emerging fields such as: (Small Project Management, Financial Analysis using Artificial Intelligence, E-commerce and Digital Marketing in the Public Sector, Sustainability and Environmental Risk Management).

  • Regulate administrative procedures by documenting all processes, such as obtaining official approvals, preparing minutes, and reports.
  • Achieve efficiency and speed in implementing courses and following up on decisions and instructions related to the Continuing Education Unit.
  • Provide the necessary development tools and care for the success of training programs, such as modern software, equipped halls, and training management systems.
  • Open specialized courses and conduct seminars and workshops for university employees, administrators, and others.
  • Functional Tasks and Unit Procedures:
    • Functional Tasks:
      • Distribute tasks among unit members according to specialization and experience.
      • Define procedures for implementing courses and determine the responsibilities of each staff member.
      • Prepare and implement activities and training programs in coordination with various departments.
      • Attract, develop, and qualify human cadres in the field of voluntary work.
      • Foster joint cooperation between the university’s colleges and various community sectors and mobilize appropriate conditions to play a positive role in community service.
      • Prepare models and forms for registration, evaluation, and follow-up.
      • Monitor performance and prepare monthly and annual reports to measure the extent of achieving objectives.
      • Provide services to develop the scientific and cultural level and enhance scientific and professional expertise for all segments of society.
      • Raise the level of performance and develop teaching and scientific research skills for the training cadres in the university.
