- Vision: Applying the effective laws, regulations, and instructions, by providing legal advice regarding the tasks of the Legal Division.
- Mission: Urging the teaching and administrative staff, as well as students, to comply with regulations and instructions to avoid legal problems that they might potentially encounter.
- Objectives: The goal of the Legal Division is to ensure the application of laws in all matters and legal incidents that accompany the scientific, academic, and administrative journey of the College, and to ensure the rights of the affiliates within the framework of the effective laws and instructions while clarifying their obligations.
- Tasks:
- Providing legal protection for the government institution and defending it before the courts when others file lawsuits against it.
- Achieving justice among all affiliates of the government institution.
- Responding to correspondence related to legal affairs.
- Participating in all investigative committees formed in the College or by the University Presidency / Legal Affairs Department and preparing their minutes and raising them to the University Presidency and the Ministry (in cases that require the university and ministry’s approval).
- Participating in the Student Discipline Committee formed in the College pursuant to the Instructions for Student Discipline in Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions No. (160) of 2007, for the purpose of discussing student problems and supervising the application of instructions related to student discipline, as the Legal Division represents the competent authority in applying laws and instructions within the College, and then presenting them to the Faculty Council for the purpose of approving the imposition of penalties, and then displaying the specific decisions on the College’s notice board.
- Attending meetings for officials of legal divisions at the University Presidency.
- Stating the legal opinion on matters referred by the Dean of the College on various topics.
- Certifying the undertakings for undergraduate students.
- Certifying the guarantees for undergraduate students.
