Head of the Department’s Message
The Department of Business Administration was established along with the College of Administration and Economics in 2011, when the college was affiliated with the University of Mosul. It became an independent department following the establishment of the University of Al-Hamdaniya as an autonomous university in the academic year 2014–2015.
The Department of Business Administration is considered one of the key pillars of societal success in many developed countries. It is dedicated to providing both public and private sectors with qualified administrative professionals capable of managing diverse institutions efficiently, thereby contributing to the achievement of institutional and societal goals.
The department grants a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and it has implemented the course system in undergraduate studies since the academic year 2015–2016. It also aspires to serve as an incubator for the creation of new departments within the college, such as Tourism and Hotel Management, Public Administration, and Financial and Banking Sciences, among others.
Moreover, the department continues to make steady progress toward launching postgraduate programs in the near future, including Higher Diploma and Master’s studies.
